Pangolin tracking, post-release monitoring, research and community engagement. Come hear about the successes and challenges to pangolin conservation over the past few
years, in this lead up to World Pangolin Day on Sat 18 Feb.
Kelsey Prediger has lived in Namibia since 2016, and pangolin conservation, research and protection is her mission. She is actively involved with local projects to raise awareness and to learn more about the ecology of these nocturnal and elusive creatures. Her work as founder and director of the Pangolin Conservation and Research Foundation is helping to develop a base of scientific knowledge and guidelines to save this species from the horrendous wildlife trafficking trade.
This talk is to raise further awareness leading up to World Pangolin Day on Saturday 18 February, where PCRF will host a family fun day for raising funds. The event will be held all day at Avis Dam and Eagle’s Beergarden. More information is available on their social media.
